In September, the Medway Public Library will host two author events. The programs will take place in the Cole Room and will be followed by a book sale and signing with the author. The public is invited to attend.

Join critically acclaimed author, indie publisher, and Eric Hoffer Gold Medal finalist E. L. Wilk for an engaging program about the world of independent publishing. Wilk, author of Body of Work, will share helpful tools, resources, and firsthand insight into bringing an independent book to market and reaching new readers. A book sale and author signing will follow the program.

Special Storytime with Author Margaret Asante Saturday, September 26 | 12:00 PM | Cole Room

Join author Margaret Asante for a special reading of Yaa Asantewaa: The Warrior Queen, an inspiring children's story about courage, leadership, and standing up for what is right. Families will also have the opportunity to learn about an important piece of West African history. A book sale and author signing will follow the reading.
