Lost and found Medway parrot
On Sat., July 18, a parrot was found in the area of Village and Summer Streets in Medway. Millis/Medway Animal Control posted this photo on Facebook and within a short time, he was identified as “Max” and reunited with his owner. It turns out this mischievous green-cheeked conure had escaped on Friday night and had been out on the town ever since. These birds are known for their playful personalities, intelligence and striking green feathers accented with red and gray. They are excellent climbers and capable fliers, but an unchaperoned outdoor excursion can be dangerous. It is likely Max is now grounded for quite some time.
