‘First Lady Dolley Madison’ to visit Medway Library on May 19

The public is invited to step into the social and political world of post-Revolutionary America during a special program at the Medway Public Library on May 19 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Historical interpreter Janet Parnes will portray Dolley Madison, offering a glimpse into the life of one of the nation’s most influential early First Ladies. The program is presented in recognition of the country’s 250th anniversary and Madison’s birthday on May 20.

The event is free and is supported in part by a grant from the Medway Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
