The Medway Garden Club met on March 11 for an informative and entertaining presentation by Tovah Martin, author of many gardening books, including “Tasha Tudor’s Garden,” “The Garden in Every Sense and Season,” and many more. She can be found at www.tovahmartin.com, on Facebook at Plantswise by Tovah Martin, and on Instagram @tovah1. One quick takeaway from Tovah’s talk was to diversify and enjoy your plants in expanded and unexpected places and containers.

The next meeting of the Club will be in April, when we will finalize plans for our Annual Plant Sale, to be held on May 16th at the Recycling Center on Broad St in Medway. This year, the sale will include a limited number of houseplants favored by and donated from our members. 

The Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts will be holding its annual June meeting in Milford this year. This organization is leading the Massachusetts 250th garden celebration by coordinating gardens across the state, featuring the theme of Red, White, and Blue.
