Millis Cultural Council Announces 2026 Grant Recipients

Millis, MA - In 2026, the Millis Cultural Council awarded 12 grants totaling $7,400 for cultural programs in Millis. The MCC received 22 grant applications with a total request of $36,850. 

The Millis Cultural Council would like to congratulate the following FY2026 grant recipients:

Kerry Consentino-Vilorio, “Pebble Art & Sea Glass Design Workshop”

Amy Adams, “Painting with Amy”

Charles River Sinfonietta, Inc., “Recital with an accompanist and one other musician at the Church of Christ in Millis”

Millis Community Theatre, Inc., “Spring Broadway musical - Charlie & The Chocolate Factory”

KevTech Services, Inc., “Digital Art and Photography Classes”

Becky Fong Hughes, “Chinese Cooking Classes - That’s a Wrap!”


Decisions about which activities to support are made at the community level by a board of community volunteers appointed by the Millis Select Board.

The Millis Cultural Council is currently seeking new members! To encourage diversity and new volunteers, each member can only serve on the council for a maximum of six years. The Millis Cultural Council is open to all Millis residents – no artistic talent required!

The Millis Cultural Council would also like to encourage residents to save the date for the annual Millis Cultural Council Arts Festival, Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 12-3 p.m., at Millis Public Library. The event will include live performance, crafts, interactive art, and local artists are encouraged to share their work.
