Millis Garden Club first photography exhibit well-received, ends Feb. 15
A racoon family hiding in a tree hole was the runaway favorite photograph chosen by viewers of the Millis Garden Club’s first annual garden photography exhibit. Currently still on exhibit in the Roche Room of the Millis Public Library, the first two weeks of January focused primarily on individual lifeforms found in a garden: insects, birds, animals, and single plants or small groups of plants. The last two weeks of January focused more on larger garden scenes. From Feb. 1-15, the exhibit will include those photographs which were viewers’ favorites.
The Millis Garden Club extends its gratitude to the staff of the Millis Public Library for their assistance in making the exhibit a success and to the residents of Millis who shared their photos or allowed their gardens to be photographed. Some photographs are available for reproduction and interested parties may leave their names on a clipboard at the exhibit for further information.
If you live in Millis, consider taking photos of your garden this coming season and join us next January.
