According to a press release from the Medway Police Department posted on Facebook on Aug. 18, “A Medway man will be arraigned on Aug. 18 in Wrentham District Court on OUI and Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident resulting from an alcohol-related crash on Village Street on Aug. 16 at 1:32 a.m.

“Christopher Sprague, age 51, of Village Street, Medway, was found and arrested by Patrol Officers Ryan Kahn and Emily Clark shortly after a crash - that took down multiple mailboxes and a utility pole - was reported at about 1:30 a.m. in the area of 250 Village Street. 

“The driver had left the scene before the officers arrived. The officers conducted a search, found the van that had been involved, and located Mr. Sprague, whom they identified as the driver. He was placed under arrest after an investigation. No injuries were reported.”
