Skye Bomba Named Principal at Clyde F. Brown School

Millis, MA – Skye Bomba has been appointed as Principal of the Clyde F Brown School in Millis to begin in the 2025-2026 school year. Ms. Bomba, a Douglas resident, is currently the school’s Special Education Team Chair and the district’s Out of District Coordinator. Ms. Bomba was selected from a pool of over 30 candidates to lead the school. Prior to her work in Millis, Ms. Bomba served as an assistant principal at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, a Special Education Team Chair in the Douglas Public Schools, a Special Education Teacher in Douglas and Upton, and a Grade Two Teacher in Hopkinton and Upton. Ms. Bomba has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Elementary Education from Wheelock College and a Master of Education degree in Elementary Education from Cambridge College.
According to Millis Superintendent of Schools, Bob Mullaney, “Ms. Bomba was selected from a field of very strong candidates. In all phases of the selection process, Ms.Bomba stood out as the candidate whose leadership, expertise, vision, and core values best aligned with those of the Clyde F. Brown School and the Millis Public Schools.”
“Becoming the Principal of the Clyde F. Brown Elementary School is more than just a professional milestone; it is a personal commitment,” Ms Bomba said, “As someone who has spent many years in elementary education, I know how powerful these early years are in shaping a child’s confidence, curiosity and love of learning. I’m here to listen, to lead and to work alongside our staff and families to build a school culture where every child feels seen, supported and inspired to reach their full potential.”
Ms. Bomba will assume the position of Clyde Brown Elementary School Principal on July 1, 2025.
