Medway High School is proud to announce an extraordinary achievement by its music program at the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) Festival in April. 

Under the direction of Amanda Webster, the Concert Band earned its first-ever Gold Medal, while the Treble Choir and Concert Choir, led by Ashley Nelson-Oneschuk, also brought home Gold Medals, marking a significant milestone for the school's music program.

Hundreds of ensembles from across Massachusetts participated in the festival, competing against a rigorous set of standards. Each group performed three pieces of festival literature, which were adjudicated by three professional judges. Following their performances, the ensembles also received a clinic to further refine their skills.

The Gold Medals awarded to the Concert Band, Treble Choir, and Concert Choir are a testament to the excellence of Medway High School's music program and its continued commitment to artistic achievement. This unprecedented achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of both the students and their teachers.
