Between Jan. 16 and Feb. 15, the Medway Police Department responded to hundreds of calls, many related to general traffic enforcement, suspicious and disabled motor vehicles, motor vehicle violations and accidents, parking violations, erratic motor vehicle operators, various alarms, 911 calls, road hazards, radar requests, various disturbances, lockouts, lost/stolen packages, property damage, drone deployment, animal issues (coyotes, dogs, racoon, deer), identity fraud, larceny, shoplifting, keeping the peace, civil complaints, and warrant service. Medway also assisted other departments including Bellingham, Franklin, Millis, Needham, Norfolk, and Sudbury.

Jan. 15 at 10:46 am, West St, illegal burn
Jan. 16 at 4:32 p.m., Industrial Park Rd., drone deployment, searching for loose dog
Jan. 16 at 4:56 p.m., Main St., 911 caller reported smoke coming from their neighbor’s chimney, fire responded and extinguished the fire, homeowner will call chimney cleaner
Jan. 17 at 4:22 p.m., Crestview Ave., arrest.
Jan. 21 at 8:30 a.m., Waterview Cir., natural gas leak
Jan. 25 at 10:43 a.m., Applegate Rd., animal control, coyote in backyard
Jan. 25 at 8:31 p.m., Main St., fire alarm, burnt food
Jan. 26 at 9:38 a.m., King Philip St., threatening. Caller reported threats on social media
Jan. 26 at 12:51 p.m., Main St., arrest, disorderly person. A 32-year-old Holliston male was charged with disorderly conduct
Jan. 26 at 4:28 p.m., Summer St., brush fire
Jan. 27 at 9:51 p.m., Robin Cir., keep peace
Jan. 29 at 9:37 a.m., Lovering Hts., pedestrian accident, two pedestrians transported to hospital
Jan. 31 at 12:27 p.m., Barber St., funeral escort
Jan. 31 at 7:45 p.m., Cottage St., fire investigation, odor of smoke in basement due to an overloaded washing machine
Jan. 31 at 9:42 p.m., Milford St., disturbance. A 39-year-old male from Pascoag, RI, was charged with malicious destruction of property, resisting arrest, threat to commit crime
Feb. 6 at 2:31 p.m., Holliston St., threats
Feb. 7 at 9:17 a.m., Sanford St., suspicious person flying a drone
Feb. 8 at 1:51 p.m., Gorwin Dr., animal control, coyote with mange in backyard
Feb. 12 at 12:09 p.m., Harmony Way, neighbor dispute
Feb. 14 at 10:41 a.m., Village St., funeral escort
Feb. 14 at 11:22 a.m., Main St., disinvitation
Feb. 14 at 6:35 p.m., Holliston St., caller reported hitting someone on a bicycle with her car, cyclist is no longer on scene
