Medway Community Farm’s Fall Festival

Medway Community Farm’s Annual Fall Festival and Beer/Cider Tasting will be held on Sunday, Sept. 18, from 12-4! This event promises to be loads of fun for the entire family!

The Fall Fest will be held on the farm at 50 Winthrop Street, Medway. Family friendly activities include hay rides, a pick your own pumpkin patch, and kid’s activities (including a bouncy house, face painting, arts & craft projects and more). Medway Librarian story-teller Aubrey Snowden will also be hosting a kid’s story-time on the farm.

We’re thrilled to be hosting some amazing local breweries in our Beer Tent, including Exhibit A and others, as well as local hard cider producer, Stormalong Cider. Beer tasting tickets can be purchased in advance at Medwaycommunityfarm.org. Along with sampler tasting tickets, your purchase will also include a Medway Community Farm logo insulated double wall souvenir cup.

A festive vibe will fill the air thanks to local folk-rock artist Matthew Stanley, who’s covers include James Taylor, Neil Young, and Darius Rucker. Matthew will be performing in the main field, while up in the Kid’s Activity area, musician Kira Rutherford-Boese will be playing the guitar for a kid’s sing-a-long set.

Bring your appetite, as food will be available, including grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, and cotton candy. Drinks will also be available for purchase.

During the event, be sure to visit local vendors who will be offering their crafts and wares for sale in our vendor yard, and don’t miss our farm stand where you can purchase our freshly picked seasonal produce, as well as honey, maple syrup, and a variety of other goods and merchandise.

As if all this isn’t enough, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet Anne McGinty, Massachusetts’ Ms. United States Agriculture, who will be speaking and helping out with Kid’s Activities! Be sure to mark your calendar and join us for a fun filled afternoon at the Medway Community Farm.
