Gavin Smith won the prize as part of a MEPTO fundraiser

On March 1, Medway First grader Gavin Smith was escorted to school by Medway Police after receiving a complimentary breakfast at the Muffin House.

In February, the Medway Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (MEPTO) ran a “Spin It To Win It” fundraiser in which all prizes were donated by local businesses and community organizations. 

All proceeds benefited the John D. McGovern School and the Francis Burke Memorial Schools in Medway to be used for staff appreciation days, grants to support teacher’s tools, and outdoor learning, play and exploration needs.
